- Adobe Commerce 2.4.8 has been validated for compatibility with MariaDB 11.8 while retaining support for MariaDB 11.4. This update addresses SQL behavior changes, default updates, and deprecations introduced in MariaDB 11.8 to maintain platform stability.
- Adobe Commerce 2.4.8 now supports the latest minor version of OpenSearch 3 on Adobe Commerce on cloud infrastructure, Cloud Native, and on-premises deployments. Compatibility with OpenSearch 2 is retained.
- Adobe Commerce 2.4.8 is now compatible with Valkey 8.1 LTS, providing a long-term-support cache backend option that is supported on Adobe Commerce on cloud infrastructure.
- Adobe Commerce 2.4.8 is now compatible with RabbitMQ 4.2, which addresses the RabbitMQ 4.1 end-of-support date scheduled for February 2026. Compatibility with Apache ActiveMQ Artemis is retained, and ActiveMQ remains the default message queue service for this security-only release line.
