- This release includes the following highlights:
- Adobe Commerce 2.4.6 now supports the latest minor version of OpenSearch 3 on Adobe Commerce on cloud infrastructure, Cloud Native, and on-premises deployments. Compatibility with OpenSearch 2 is retained.
- Adobe Commerce 2.4.6 is now compatible with Valkey 8.1 LTS, providing a long-term-support cache backend option that is supported on Adobe Commerce on cloud infrastructure.
- Adobe Commerce 2.4.6 is now compatible with RabbitMQ 4.2, which addresses the RabbitMQ 4.1 end-of-support date scheduled for February 2026. Compatibility with Apache ActiveMQ Artemis is retained, and ActiveMQ remains the default message queue service for this security-only release line.
- The USPS shipping integration now supports the modernized RESTful USPS APIs in addition to the legacy Web Tools APIs. Administrators can select which USPS integration API to use from the Admin configuration. This update prepares for the USPS Web Tools API deprecation.
